ALRC Cross Country Vehicle Trial – Open to all Members of ALRC Clubs.
£25 pre-booked – £35 if paid on the day.
Scrutineering from 8.30am to 9.30am prompt – Competition starts at 10am.
Camping available Friday and Saturday nights @ £5 per night. Toilets will be on site.
Please note when booking in that Running No. is only required for Comp Safari – please answer N/A.
You must put your class down on the booking in – choosing from:-
Class 1 – Leaf Sprung, Up to 84″ (80 only)
Class 2 – Leaf Sprung, Over 84″ to 90″ (86, 88, Lightweight)
Class 3 – Leaf Sprung, Over 90″ (101, 107, 109, 110 – including FC’s)
Class 4 – Coil Sprung, Up to 95″ (90)
Class 5 – Coil Sprung, Over 95″ (Range Rover, Discovery, Freelander, 110, 127, 130)
Class 6 – Leaf Sprung, Up to 84″ (80 only)
Class 7 – Leaf Sprung, Over 84″ to 90″ (86, 88, Lightweight)
Class 8 – Leaf Sprung, Over 90″ (101, 107, 109, 110 – including FC’s)
Class 9 – Coil Sprung, Up to 84″ (80 only)
Class 10 – Coil Sprung, Over 84″ to 95″ (86, 88, Lightweight, 90)
Class 11 – Coil Sprung, Over 95″ (All types over 95 wheelbase)
Please note that if you are towing do not take the route over the Long Mynd from Church Stretton.
From the M54/A5 head towards Shrewsbury and follow the A5 left at Preston roundabout. Go over the Rover Severn. At the Emstrey roundabout take the B4380 (3rd exit) and go straight over the next two roundabouts. Go past the new football stadium then over the railway bridge to Meole Brace (big roundabout with traffic lights), take the 3rd exit and keep left following the B4380 past Brooklands pub on the left. At the next roundabout turn left towards Longden. Proceed for approx. 13 miles through Longden, Pulveratch, arrive at the The Green pub and take the left turn to Wentnor. In Wentnor turn left at T junction, Crown Inn on the right, veer to the right down Dangerous Hill, follow for approx. two miles. At the end take a sharp left hand turn, proceed for two miles. When arriving at Medlicott there is a sharp left hand turning and the site gate is in front of you.
